Overview

The MS24S Slimline Splitter by GPS Source is military-qualified. It is provided with two input and four output GPS splitters. Built in is a sensor, which determines antenna health, along with an antenna switch. Two input ports make it possible for the splitter to be plugged into two GPS receiving antennas, thus ensuring redundancy.

For example, in case the primary splitter fails, the unit switches to the second one. When the failure is resolved, primary antenna operation is resumed. The embedded automatic switch can also be controlled manually.

Just as the MS24 can use its four output RF ports to distribute signals to several devices, it eliminates the requirement for multiple GPS antennas to be mounted on a platform or roof. Thus, all connected GPS units to stay fully operational if an antenna failure should occur.

Please note that all of GPS Source’s splitters can be configured with amplified, passive or custom gain. It has an ultra slim profile, which makes it suitable for tight spots.
