Tallysman® HC997EXF is a high-performance, high-versatility, minimal weight antenna designed for extremely precise positioning with no errors. This antenna is equipped with triple-band GNSS coverage, meaning that it receives multiple satellite signals at once, making it much more accurate. It covers GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and NavlC frequency bands, including SBAS systems such as WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, or GAGAN, as well as L-band correction services.

Description
Tallysman® HC997EXF is a high-performance, high-versatility, minimal weight antenna designed for extremely precise positioning with no errors. This antenna is equipped with triple-band GNSS coverage, meaning that it receives multiple satellite signals at once, making it much more accurate. It covers GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and NavlC frequency bands, including SBAS systems such as WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, or GAGAN, as well as L-band correction services.
The Tallysman® HC997EXF eXtended Filtering (XF) system enables the antenna to filter false frequencies that have previously affected GNSS antennas. Frequencies close to that of the frequency range of a GNSS antenna are now mitigated and filtered, preventing any errors, therefore allowing the antenna to communicate precisely. North American Ligado service (1526 to 1536 MHz), European and Japanese LTE bands (1452 – 1496 MHz and 1476 – 1511 MHz), as well as the Inmarsat satellite communication uplink (1626.5 – 1660.5 MHz), can easily affect GNSS antennas and may cause false positioning.
The HC997EXF supports the entire upper GNSS band and L-Band corrections (1539 – 1606 MHz) and 91 MHz of lower band signal bandwidth (1164-1255 MHz). The axial ratio of 2.5 dBi and 0.5 dB allows for capturing Right Hand Circular Polarized (RHCP) signals while filtering out the reflected LHCP signals, resulting in excellent multipath mitigation.
With a compact design of 60 mm in width and 25 mm in length and only 11 grams of weight, its ability to operate without a ground plane makes the Tallysman® HC997EXF perfect for unmanned aerial vehicles, better known as drones. However, the HC997EXF antenna must be installed with great care and exactness due to its compact design, as ground planes below the antenna can affect its tuning. Improper installation can lead to a dissatisfactory performance.
The radio frequency spectrum has become and is becoming even more swarmed, causing GNSS antennas to be affected by unwanted frequencies. The HC997EXF industry-leading low current low-noise amplifier (LNA), which comes integrated with a low-loss pre-filter, helps the antenna avoid unwanted frequencies, leaving only GNSS signals.
The compact design, signal reception, signal filtering, signal strength to noise ratio, and extreme precision make the Tallysman® HC997EXF excellent for applications such as drones, precision GNSS, and land survey positioning, mission-critical GNSS timing, marine, navy, and avionics systems.
