Tallysman TW4027/TW4029 Low-Power GPS Antenna
Description
Overview
The TW4027/TW4029 is a commercial level GNSS antenna from Tallysman Wireless that uses extremely low power to cover the frequency band for GPS L1 signals. It contains a low-noise amplifier requiring nominal power of only 2mA while supplying continuous fulfillment from 2.5V to 15V supply voltage. At the same time, the unit protects against L-Band antennas such as Globalstar and Iridium operating in the vicinity.
Even though TW4027/TW4029 requires the lowest power use available, it still achieves an outstanding noise level and executes 21dB nominal gain. Its bandwidth at 40 percent wider than comparable units improves axial ratio; circuit protection is 15 KV ESD.
Operating on the 1572.5 to 1578MHz frequency band with a bandwidth of around 10MHz, it covers the complete L1 GPS and SBAS (EGOS/MSAS/WAAS) signals.
The TW4029 version includes a pre-filter with Brick-Wall to shield from saturation coming from L-Band signals and high-grade sub-harmonics.
The unit is equipped with SMA connectors, three meters of cable, and a magnetic-mount IP67-rated housing.
