TERRASTAR-M Positioning Service is a worldwide GNSS enhancement service designed for people needing highly accurate position information. TERRASTAR-M uses C/A Code and L1 carrier observations to deliver meter-level position precision. This is done by making pseudo-range corrections for GLONASS and GPS satellites.
The system consists of a number of control centers and reference stations, which correct GNSS data. High performance is achieved by coordinating station antennas to absolute accuracy at the centimeter level. The exact location of reference stations guarantees best coverage and redundancy for users anywhere in the world.
Enhancement data is provided by two Network Control Centers (NCCs), which manage full system operation. The primary NCC is manned 24 hours a day, monitors performance and availability of service and offers a global Helpdesk to support customers at any time.
TERRASTAR-M is designed for use with many GNSS receivers.
